GOOD TALK is named in memory of our son/brother/mate Graeme "Reidy" Reid who lost his life to Suicide after years of struggling with Bi-Polar Disorder. We chose GOOD TALK for the name of the foundation as this phrase was one of Graeme's favourites which he injected into most conversations. Bi-Polar Disorder affects one in seventy Australians. This condition causes extreme mood swings varying from chaotic exuberance of mania to severe depression. Our aim is to raise funds for Bi-Polar research. All monies raised will be donated to the Bipolar Disorders Unit at the School of Psychiatry of University of New South Wales research program "Bi-Polar Kids and Sibs" run by Professor Philip Mitchell, Director Bi-Polar Disorders Clinic.
