Gluten Free Allergen Advice

All our chocolate products are gluten free except the licorice ranges.
However, all our products are manufactured in the same facility as products that contain gluten, tree nuts, soy and milk.

Dairy Free Allergen Advice

Our dark chocolate is dairy free. 
However all our products are manufactured in the same facility as products that contain gluten, tree nuts, soy and milk.

How should I store my chocolate when it arrives?

Chocolate is very sensitive to temperature and humidity. It should be kept away from sunlight in a cool, dry place with a temperature ranging from 15 to 20°C.

Chocolate is best enjoyed when eaten at room temperature. If the storage temperature changes extremely then this may cause blooming (whitish colour on the surface of the chocolate) or the appearance of “chocolate shock”.
These are the fats in the chocolate rising to the surface. The chocolate is still edible, but it may affect the chocolate’s quality of taste and texture.

The cocoa butter in chocolate absorbs odours easily, be sure to store your chocolate away from items that have strong odours such as garlic, onion, or perfumed products such as soap. These fragrances and odours can permeate into the chocolate and impact the taste and flavour profile.

Organic Certification

All our boxed products are certified organic and display the Australian Certified Organic logo. Allthough our other products are made with organic ingredients, not all our products are certified. Please look for the ACO logo if you are on-selling our products through an organic shop or wholesaler. 

Shipping

When should I expect my order to be posted?

The production and packing of all orders is done by hand and therefore takes time. Please allow at least 2 days for your order to be packaged, and allow 1 week during peak seasonal times.

As most of our products are perishable, we may also choose to delay shipping if the weather is too hot, as this may compromise the quality of the products. If your order has been delayed due to weather, you will receive an email notifying you of this change.

Please Note: When selecting Express shipping, you are selecting quicker transit time for your order. Express orders do not jump the queue for production and packing.

How do you ship my order?

We post all domestic and international parcels through Australia Post.

We will send through a confirmation email to inform you once your order is in transit and has left our premises. You will typically receive an email with tracking information directly from Australia Post later the same day.

Why do some products show Pick-up Only?

Some of our delicate or custom-made products (such as our Smash Cakes) are simply not suitable for shipping, and cannot be ordered for online delivery. If an item is marked as "In-store Only" or "Pick-up Only", then we do not offer shipping on that particular product.

Please carefully read the shipping details on your products before placing an order to ensure that your order can be completed.

Can you guarantee my order?

Chocolate is a complex and fragile product to ship. We will do our best to protect and package this item to ensure it won’t break or tarnish in transit, however you should be aware that this isn’t a guarantee.

I made a mistake with my order

Please send an email to sales@greengroveorganics.com as soon as possible, stating the full name on the order and the order number.

Alternatively please call us on (+61) 02 6924 3574 between 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.

There was an issue with my order

Please send an email to sales@greengroveorganics.com within 2-3 days of receiving your order, stating the full name on the order and the order number.

Be sure to include a description of the problem (including photos if possible) and a batch number and best before of the product.

General

Factory Tours

We run guided tours every day at 10:30am and 1:30pm, where you can witness the licorice production and chocolate manufacturing in action, sample the products, and play a fun game of Vertical Licorice Bowling. This tour is wheelchair friendly and is a fun time for all ages.

Guided tours are approximately 30-45 minutes. For more information on pricing and booking, click here.

Don’t have time for the guided tour? We also have self-guided tour information available within our Grand Hall and all customers are able to browse our manufacturing areas between 9am – 4pm, 7 days a week.

Hands On Experiences

When you come to a chocolate factory you want to get the full experience and make something! We offer hands-on experiences at our factory, which also includes seasonal events like making your own Easter Egg!

For more information on pricing, click here. Please note there is no need to pre-book this experience - simply visit us at the chocolate sales counter between 9am-3pm to purchase a plate. Seasonal hands-on events will require a booking due to popular demand.

If you have any allergies, please make this known at the time of purchasing.

Guided Tours/Hands-On for large groups

For groups with more than 20 people for guided tours or freckle making, please email functions@greengroveorganics.com to arrange a preferred time.

We happily provide information for commerce, geography, food technology, and business study classes. We also offer school-based guided tours, for an in-depth look behind our business and its operations.

Chocolate is the perfect gift to show gratitude to your staff or directors.

Email sales@greengroveorganics.com with your request, specifying the number of hampers and whether parcels will be individually sent to addresses or bulk dispatched to your company address.

Donations and Sponsorship

We love supporting local sporting clubs and causes, but we receive a very high volume of requests, and unfortunately we can't financially assist all of them. Sometimes we can provide our products at a discounted rate as an alternative.
